Our pest inspections check for termites and timber preying pests. We check every accessible area of your property for any signs of pests both active and inactive. If we find termites or other pests, we’ll inspect any resulting damage. With our pest inspections we also assess your property for areas that are conducive or attractive for pest inhabitation.
If our inspectors find vulnerable areas, we’ll discuss maintenance and pest prevention with you. In addition to the commonly known timber pests, our pest inspections look for wood rot. We verify any existing wood rot, and notify you of timber vulnerabilities on your property.
No matter the main materials used to build your property, all structures have timber elements that are vulnerable. Many homeowners neglect pest inspections with the reasoning that their homes are primarily stone or brick.
That can be a critical failure for a home’s structural stability and endurance. Approximately 1 in 5 homes has some kind of termite or wood pest damage. This can lead to beam and frame collapse, structural weaknesses, and destruction of safety features such as railings. Pest infestations spread quickly if untreated. Often a neglected pest problem becomes not only expensive, but also becomes a dangerous safety hazard.
